Mike is responsible for growing the transportation planning business across the north of England. He works closely with existing regional clients and teams, developing new relationships and supporting national delivery and opportunities across the wider business.
With 22 years of experience in the transportation and highways sector, Mike has a broad range of technical expertise and experience providing operational leadership, transportation planning, and advisory services to a wide range of clients. His primary area of expertise? The development and delivery of investment programmes and major schemes, and he’s been involved in the development of over 50 successful business cases.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked on several nationally significant programs for the Department of Transport (DfT) and National Highways including the Smart Motorway Programme, the Oxford to Cambridge Expressway Strategic Study, the A1 in Northumberland Strategic Study, and the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys cycling, walking, camping, and travel.
