Stephen is a senior associate transport planner in our Edinburgh office with over two decades of experience. His UK-wide project portfolio reflects his core areas of experience including appraisal, business case development, strategy and policy development, monitoring and evaluation, and economic and transportation research. Stephen is particularly interested in rural transportation and publicly supported ferry services and has successfully delivered over 60 projects in this field.
As a chartered transportation planning professional and accredited Better Business Cases practitioner, Stephen has worked for and with various high-profile clients in the United Kingdom and abroad. These include the Department for Transport, Transport Scotland, Transport for Wales, Transport for Greater Manchester, and numerous local authorities.
When not busy with transportation projects, Stephen spends much of his time (fruitlessly) following the Partick Thistle Football Club around the country. He also enjoys spending time with his family, particularly when traveling.
