Neil is a highly motivated and determined MBA calibre water professional with Chartered Water and Environmental Manager status and 20 years’ experience obtained through a variety of leadership, engineering and project management roles. He has extensive leadership and management experience and holds key transferable business skills, supported by both academic and professional qualifications, including a Masters in Business Administration.
As Technical Director – Water Distribution, Neil is accountable for setting and implementing the technical strategy for a Water Distribution design department across the UK. He coaches and mentors technical engineering staff to achieve excellence and ensures high levels of engagement throughout the department and identifying, recruiting and training key engineering personnel.
Neil is also seconded into United Utilities as a Senior Project Engineering Manager. He is responsible for the delivery of a circa £200m Large Diameter Trunk Mains cleaning project, required to improve the aesthetics and quality of the water supplied to customers in the North West of England. This involves the delivery of a large multi-discipline design team detail a cost effective solution for cleaning and lining over 100km of water mains.
