Deanna is a data scientist within our Insight Analytics group. She specializes in the application of operations research techniques such as optimization modelling, discrete event simulation, and statistical and machine learning model development to quantify and improve the planning and design process.
Known for her ability to bring quantitative methods and data architecture together, Deanna enjoys taking ideas from proof-of-concept to product. Working alongside engineers and scientists, she brings the big picture view needed to execute the Company’s ambitious data vision—Deanna strives to promote positive environmental outcomes through data science.
Deanna holds a master's degree in operations research from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor's in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. When she’s not working, she enjoys the great outdoors and watching movies.
