Marcus, a senior structural engineer and team lead, has more than 10 years’ experience designing concrete, steel, timber, and fiberglass structures. Moreover, he has split that time working in both the design office and on-the-ground at site offices where he’s gained valuable understanding of what it takes to get projects completed.
His broad technical understanding, combined with a positive and action-oriented attitude, helps Marcus build strong and enduring relationships with clients. On projects including buildings, bridges, theme parks, and water infrastructure, he has a “sixth sense” for structure and detail design that keeps users safe and meets or exceeds specification. Marcus has a particular interest in marine infrastructure and is enjoying his work designing a dry-docking facility at Port Nelson. Tenacious and exacting, he believes the key to finding solutions is knowing the detail intimately.
Away from the office or construction site, Marcus has a small sailboat and enjoys exploring the Bay of Islands.
