Eric has over a decade of professional design experience guiding multiple large projects through all phases of design and documentation. He champions a collaborative approach among designers, consultants, and clients and has a passion for creating meaningful and innovative design in the healthcare setting.
Believing that a designer needs to understand the impact of a design from the façade to the most interior space, Eric takes a holistic approach to architecture, integrating exterior, core, and shell work with interior fit outs. He finds this to be especially valuable in healthcare design, where he considers the experience of patients, staff, and visitors at each step. He used this approach during his work on the South Expansion project for RWJBarnabas, providing invaluable insight into coordinating the facility’s new construction with a highly complex interior renovation.
When he isn’t designing holistic healthcare spaces, Eric enjoys playing guitar and piano, as well as designing and fabricating custom furniture and cabinetry.
