Passionate about serving the community and working to create positive change, the transportation industry was a natural draw for Brett. Having worked as a traffic engineer at South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT)—where he managed the signal shop and traffic safety projects—he brings nearly two decades of experience to his role.
Over the course of his career, Brett has managed numerous successful projects throughout the state including corridor studies, intersection improvements, and corridor improvements. Today, he focuses on project management, traffic signal and roadway design. Brett considers highway projects his most rewarding because the solutions are proven to save lives.
When he’s not busy developing projects that enhance South Carolina’s roadways, Brett enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, and coaching his kids in various sports.
