Brianna is driven to promote a culture of environmental awareness and ensure long-term sustainability. She’s experienced in freshwater, salt lakes, subterranean and terrestrial ecology, as well as rehabilitation in multiple bioregions of Australia.

Brianna works on monitoring programs that advises clients on the health of ecosystems while providing recommendations to enhance conservation outcomes. She’s known for her work as an algologist, focusing on diatom taxonomy. For Brianna, a career highlight was her involvement in the Cape Lambert Turtle Monitoring Program at Bells Beach, Western Australia. This involved tracking nesting turtle activity to monitor population health and detect changes over time.

As an advocate for sustainability, Brianna is an active member of Green@Stantec and the Developing Professionals Group (DPG) sustainability team. She’s involved in the development of waste and plastic reduction initiatives, specifically the Plastic Free July office-based campaign.

Given her passion for the outdoors, it’s no surprise that on the weekends you’ll find Brianna surfing, hiking, or heading into Fremantle to watch the sunset.
