Oscar provides a structural engineering presence for local projects and clients in the Great Southern and South West regions of Western Australia. He focuses on the structural design and analysis of steel, concrete, and timber structures including commercial buildings and public facilities. Working throughout the entire project lifecycle, from schematic design to project completion, Oscar helps clients successfully meet their goals.
In addition to his design and analysis work, Oscar conducts site investigations, develops engineering reports, and produces scope of works for remediation of misbehaving structures, for example, those experiencing recurring damage. He enjoys the challenge of working with existing structures, such as heritage buildings, which require creative thinking and practical solutions to overcome restraints and meet project objectives.
Relocating to Albany has been a long-term goal of Oscar’s, where he now spends time hiking, fishing, camping, and exploring with his young family.
