With 29 years of highways engineering experience in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, Matt has held senior leadership roles with operational teams. Together, they deliver complex infrastructure projects such as the development of highway schemes, detailed design and construction phase projects, as well as undertaking roles in the delivery of network management services.
For Matt, the priority has always been seeking opportunities to grow his knowledge and capability—to the betterment of himself and the teams he’s been part of. His understanding of project drivers has benefitted from working closely with clients on secondment and client side on major transportation delivery projects. Over his career, he’s delivered projects such as the Mitchell Freeway Southbound Widening Cedric Street to Vincent Street, as well as a wide variety of projects through the Main Roads Engineering and Technical Services panel contract.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time exploring the great outdoors, following his kids’ baseball teams, and BBQ cooking.
