Andrew, or AJ as he is known, focuses on multiple aspects of stormwater management, living shorelines, and water resources engineering in his work. Providing engineering design and modeling for many types of projects, his heart is with living shoreline and ecosystem restoration endeavors—he takes a special pride in finding effective and innovative ways to protect and improve our watersheds.
AJ is experienced in AutoCAD and with an array of other computerized design and modeling software which he uses to perform various hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling and analysis. This helps him better understand and solve his clients’ water resources issues. He also provides construction-phase services for a variety of living shoreline, stormwater best management practices (BMPs), and stream restoration projects across the Commonwealth of Virginia helping to establish engineering designs that are brought to life correctly in the built environment.
In his spare time, AJ enjoys cooking, entertaining, and board games.
