Increasingly, call centres have become the main portal to companies. With high industry turnover, Rogers Communications needed a space that would increase their call centre employee retention and job satisfaction.
Our design highlights the Rogers brand while ensuring staff have a functional and exciting work environment. The first floor contains common reception, interview rooms, training rooms, and a lunch room with a rooftop patio. Movable walls accommodate large meetings and events. Two more floors contain large areas of workstations. Staff service spaces, quiet lounges and games rooms are on each floor, ensuring a range of retreat spaces.
For Rogers, workstation design was critical. We developed a W configuration for full visual communication between agents and managers while furniture provides teaming space within the pod.
From elevator lobbies to washrooms, copy rooms and training facilities, pride of place was achieved through considerate design. The new space has resulted in lower employee turnover, improved staff moral and higher operational efficiencies.
