For over a hundred years, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has cared for Atlantic City, New Jersey. Their goal? Optimal health for each member of their community. And to do that, they set their sights on something big—the biggest expansion and renovation project in their history.
Our design team studied some of the best medical facilities in the country. From there, they discovered the best elements and incorporated those into the design of the campus’ new nine-story patient tower. The emergency department has its own diagnostic imaging suite and behavioral health area. There’s a radiology department, a new intensive care unit, and four new medical/surgical floors.
The rooftop houses a helipad with a trauma stabilization room, and if the patient needs to get to emergency, there’s a direct elevator from the roof. All patient suites in the George Lynn Harmony Pavilion are private with natural light. There are also conference rooms for family and care-team meetings outside of the patient room if desired.
The George Lynn Harmony Pavilion was a large undertaking, but the benefits that it delivers for the health of Atlantic City’s residents are equally as massive.
Services for AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center - George Lynn Harmony Pavilion were completed by the employees of Granary Associates prior to their employment at Stantec.
