When the County of Gloucester needed an upgraded facility for their justice system, we were there to give them a hand. The plan was for a 126,000 square foot addition, a new three-story parking structure, and a load of renovations to the existing Justice Center.
Our job was to develop the overall project schedule. With our partner, L.F. Driscoll Co., we refined the budget during the planning, programming, schematic design, and design development phases. The team provided program and project management as well as construction management with evaluation of systems (mechanical and electrical), review of construction documents, and on-site observation during construction.
When construction started, the Stantec/L.F. Driscoll Co. team reviewed a critical path project schedule with the public—making sure that all milestone dates were specified for submittals, long lead items, construction activities, delivery dates, move-in coordination, punch list, and final closeout.
