Our decades-long work at the Freehold Raceway Mall has created jobs and economic stimulus. It’s a community gathering place, an events space, a source of recreation, and even a source of safety during hurricanes. From the beginning, when we completed the original site work, our outstanding service, creative solutions, and knowledge of approval processes earned us the trust of our client and the community.
Obtaining timely approvals has been key in the mall's long-term success. Since our initial work, we’ve been involved in adding two new major anchor stores (Macy's and Nordstrom's), expanding an existing anchor's pad, developing several out parcels, and completing major transportation and utility infrastructure upgrades.
Recently, we completed a 96,000 square foot lifestyle addition, with outdoor courtyard seating surrounded by restaurants and small retail.
We also prepared and received approval of a general development plan for the entire mall covering all improvements anticipated through 2025. We’re currently preparing site, subdivision, and transportation upgrade plans for the first phase of development on an adjacent 77-acre parcel.
