Designed as a setting where breast cancer is recognized as a treatable and often curable disease, the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center delivers comprehensive cancer care. The new breast and imaging center will stand 16 stories tall on Second Avenue between 65th and 66th streets.
As the project manager, we were the day-to-day point of communication for MSKCC senior facilities as well as design and construction executives. We were troubleshooters: managing the budget, schedule, and cash flow forecasts to resolve issues quickly and appropriately. We also completed monthly budget and schedule reports and supported MSKCC’s funding and financing activities.
The Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center includes a medical oncology suite, surgical oncology functions, two floors dedicated to breast imaging and interventional radiology services, and floors of academic and administrative spaces. When completed, this facility will deliver top-quality ambulatory care for the whole community.
