The National Retail Federation (NRF) wanted to recreate themselves in 2014. How they conducted business, how they collaborated with others, and how they presented as an organization. That’s where we came in. Branding a penthouse suite to the world’s largest retail trade association was fun, but helping them recreate their identity was fulfilling.
The NRF is a not-for-profit organization that represents retailers from more than 45 countries, including department stores, online shops, grocery markets, and restaurant chains. We were chosen by the NRF to assist in the design and relocation of their new headquarters in Washington, DC. Housed on the top floor, the office space takes full advantage of stunning views and natural sunlight—and we would as well.
The project, completed in May 2014, features white marble walls and comfortable dark wood flooring. More importantly, 30,000 square feet of workspace now celebrates the vision and culture of the NRF. The glass framework and open design signify a clear company focus, while the flexible space supports membership meetings and special events. The redesigned headquarters reflects an identity the NRF can be proud of: competent, transparent, and professional.
