Wouldn’t it be great to have a crystal ball before investing in a major project—to anticipate pitfalls and problems, to see opportunities and solutions—and then plan for what’s ahead, saving time and money? That is just what our feasibility studies provide for our clients.
A feasibility study not only clarifies project goals and possibilities but also raises issues and constraints that could negatively affect schedule and budget – and perhaps even derail a project. It answers questions like: will the project as conceived achieve the client’s goals? Can the physical characteristics of the site support the intended building program? Is the project economically viable? Will the regulating authorities and the public support the construction of the structure for the intended use? How might the building program change over time, and what impact will that have on the design? Another essential component of our feasibility studies is our interactive stakeholder program, which benefits the client and brings value to the community. Acting as a sounding board for stakeholders, we help to promote transparency as well as encourage dialog and involvement early on.
