Water affects your mine at every stage of its life. Beginning as a drop of rain, it soaks into voids to feed groundwater and fills the rivers and lakes that provide your mine’s water supply. It’s an integral part of your operation.
When you close a mine, efforts are made to divert water away from it, while any remaining contact water is treated. Restored back to its clean and natural state, water can flow through the system again. We’re here to help you make sure that happens.
