Rob Clout appointed Geospatial Growth and Advisory Lead, Australia

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has appointed Rob Clout as its geospatial growth and advisory lead for Australia.

In this client-facing role, Rob will grow Stantec’s geospatial advisory and GIS-related services by winning new clients and expanding opportunities with existing clients across the business. He will partner with teams nationally to position geospatial early in programmes and pursuits, shape clear value propositions, and develop repeatable offer packages that connect spatial data to measurable outcomes for clients and communities.

‘Spatial data underpins many of the decisions that shape our communities—from how we plan and move, to how we respond to change,’ said Stantec’s Director Digital Technology for Asia Pacific, Louisa Bloomer. ‘Rob’s ability to bridge technical capability with practical delivery will help our clients make faster, evidence-based decisions and embed spatial intelligence into the projects and assets that matter most.’

Rob brings more than 25 years’ experience helping organisations unlock value from spatial data, GIS (Geographic Information System), and digital engineering. His expertise spans spatial strategy, enterprise GIS, digital asset intelligence, reality capture, and digital twins with experience across government and key infrastructure markets.
