Tilman Thrum appointed Market Leader for Energy and Power

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has appointed Tilman Thrum as its Market Leader for Energy and Power in Australia. Tilman will lead Stantec’s efforts in the rapidly evolving energy transition space, helping clients navigate one of the defining challenges of our time.

Relocating from Canada, Tilman will spearhead the expansion of Stantec’s national energy sector presence by strengthening relationships, deepening market understanding, and delivering impactful solutions that support grid modernisation and power stability. His leadership will position Stantec as a trusted partner in advancing Australia’s clean energy future.

With more than three decades of electrical engineering experience, Tilman brings extensive expertise in renewable energy, energy storage, electrical power generation, and grid design and operations. He will also leverage Stantec’s global network to deliver integrated solutions, drawing on relationships formed in Canada where he partnered with clients to design and build solar inverters for major projects across Europe.
