Nicole’s fascination with weather patterns began early in her career. Working for a local council, she witnessed the direct impact of flooding on communities. This ignited her interest in understanding and mitigating flood risks. She has a particular interest in land use planning and development assessment and the role they play in managing flood risk as populations continue to grow.
As our flood risk practice leader, Nicole oversees business development, technical excellence, and delivery consistency across our national service offering. Taking a holistic approach with clients, she strives to understand their challenges and pressures. She believes in leveraging technology to innovate and enhance risk assessment and communication by extracting value from existing data. Her vision is to position Stantec as a water resources leader through innovation.
When not shaping flood futures, Nicole spends most of her time with her young family and enjoying the outdoors.
