After nearly a decade focused on developing our Dams and Hydropower team in Australia and building our client base across the market sector, including pumped hydro energy storage, Mark is turning his attention to project delivery. His pumped hydro experience has included redevelopment and use of open cast mine pits as the lower storage reservoir for pumped storage.
Drawing on his over 35 years' global experience, Mark is dedicated to providing planning, design, and construction support for dams and hydropower projects. He continues to assist clients in evaluating opportunities in pumped hydro energy storage projects, as demonstrated by his ongoing role as design director for the Water2Wire joint venture—Stantec, GHD, and Mott MacDonald—for the dam design services on Borumba Pumped Hydro Project.
