Olivia’s interest in engineering began in Year 10 after attending a university event that inspired her to pursue the field. Today, she specialises in electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering with our Water team in Australia.
Olivia enjoys working through complex problems, considering different solutions and finding the approach that best fits each project. Her work includes designing cable routes and electrical systems, checking equipment requirements, and tying together a design between vendor packages and the overall project design.
Two projects Olivia has particularly enjoyed are the Fitzroy to Gladstone pipeline project where she supported the construction phase of a new freshwater treatment plant designed to supply reliable drinking water to the Gladstone community, and the Merrimac Sewerage Treatment Plant upgrade, where she worked across disciplines to design an effective upgrade to the existing site.
When she’s not finding solutions between greenfield and brownfield projects, Olivia enjoys crocheting, walking and visiting new places.
