As part of the Civil team in Sydney’s Buildings group, Melissa is a leader who contributes her experience to a variety of projects, from small community work to large scale projects. Dedicated to the work that she and her group deliver, she takes the initiative to proactively manage projects, and plan project delivery in a timely manner.
In addition to working as a civil project technical lead, Melissa is currently the New South Wales-Australian Capital Territory (NSW/ACT) Developing Professionals Group (DPG) leader. Her role includes coordinating DPG events programming across their state or region and leading an effective and inclusive state committee team. She establishes consistent communication across offices, supports DPG integration efforts, and represents developing professionals on Australia’s National DPG committee.
Melissa is also a representative of the Latin community, and she likes to stay active with dancing salsa and other Latin rhythms, hiking, climbing, and running.
