Will drives an analytical, energetic, and collaborative approach to all transport projects, keeping the most optimal solution in sight. He uses transport modelling and data analysis packages such as Aimsun, VISSIM, SIDRA and PowerBI to develop and deliver microscopic, hybrid, and mesoscopic—intermediate sized—models across Australia.
Acknowledging that detailed analysis on its own can get lost in the numbers, Will values communicating outputs and strives to deliver an easily digestible and comprehensive analysis journey throughout a project. He aims to deliver the most efficient and best use of transport systems that incorporate all road users. For example, on the Maidstone Tram Maintenance Facility project, he completed the detailed microscopic modelling needed to test and analyse the introduction of trams into an existing intersection.
When he isn’t modelling transport projects, Will loves spending his time at the beach attempting to surf. He also enters endurance events and is currently training for his first Ironman.
