Hans is a multidisciplinary professional with experience across a broad cross-section of specialties including design, active transport and analytics. He’s undertaken transport studies on all types of developments, from individual dwellings to flagship retail assets, mixed-use precincts, and major infrastructure projects.
Passionate about improving the transport network for all users, Hans views mobility as an active enabler of land use development, not a limitation. He plays an active role in industry organisations and is the current chair of the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Victoria and Tasmania Emerging Professional's Network. This role includes overseeing initiatives to demystify the transport industry for interested students and providing opportunities for emerging professionals to connect with each other and learn from industry experts.
When he’s not finding new ways to integrate active transport into designs or mentoring younger generations, you’ll likely find Hans exploring all that Melbourne has to offer—he loves attending the latest theatre show, art gallery, or museum exhibition.
