Mitch’s mechanical engineering career in building services began with an inspiring undergraduate work experience. In his role as Queensland’s commercial market leader, he specialises in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). With over a decade of experience, Mitch has established a detailed understanding of all building services disciplines—which is fundamental in his collaborative delivery approach.
Renowned for his experience in workplace fitouts (transforming a commercial space into a functioning workplace) and commercial base builds, Mitch thrives on the daily challenges of merging functionality, aesthetics, and budget. He believes in building client relationships through personal connections and has overseen several substantial projects including the Sunshine Coast City Hall fitout project. His leadership focuses on delivering quality work and fostering growth in the Brisbane commercial market. His vision? For Stantec to be a major part in reshaping Brisbane’s commercial landscape, and with the upcoming Olympics, to work on some iconic projects in the hotel and hospitality sector.
When he’s not working on designing commercial spaces, Mitch is loving being a new dad and is an avid traveller.
