With over 45 years of experience, Richard knows a thing or two about bridge engineering. With comprehensive technical knowledge and a solid client network, he’s the go-to specialist for bridges. Known for his expertise in steel design, his extensive knowledge encompasses structural analysis, assessment of mining subsidence effects on bridges, prefabricated bridging systems, bridge erection systems, and temporary works design.
An integral member of our Transport group, Richard is a role model and mentor, directly supporting the people in his team. Leading by example, he instills an action-oriented mindset into everything he does, focused on doing the right thing and achieving positive project outcomes.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys woodworking, particularly building acoustic and electric guitars. He also plays guitar with friends.
