88 by JQZ is set to be the centrepiece of St Leonards in Sydney, sparking urban transformation in the popular area. The $1.6 billion development creates three high-rise towers arranged around an open plaza, offering a mix of commercial, residential and retail accommodation. Stantec engineers are providing full documentation and supervision services for the project, expected to complete in 2023.
Located to take advantage of the train station, the site also boasts Sydney Harbour views for occupants of the 680 luxury apartments and 20,000sqm of office space. The increase in inner-city density will be balanced by a number of new features for public use including a community square, communal rooftop area, library and laneways.
When finished, the development will transform the highway-oriented suburb into a pedestrian-centred hub with on-the-doorstep community facilities and easy access to public transport.
