A next-generation cloud infrastructure provider is developing a 700-plus megawatt AI hyperscale data centre campus to support the rapid growth of digital services. As one of Australia’s largest planned digital infrastructure developments, the project represents a significant investment in the nation’s digital future and the ambition to strengthen their position as a hub for advanced computing and innovation.
We are providing advisory and design services for the development, bringing together expertise across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, communications, architectural, security, water, environmental, and life safety disciplines. Our current scope also includes commissioning design reviews as part of the integrated design process, helping coordinate the complex infrastructure required for hyperscale digital operations while supporting resilience, reliability, and long-term flexibility.
Our team has helped design the campus with the infrastructure required to support large-scale AI and cloud computing workloads, with infrastructure that can be expanded in stages as future demand grows. We are incorporating reliable communications, secure critical systems, and sustainable infrastructure strategies to support long-term operational and environmental performance. We are also helping explore innovative ways to reduce dependence on traditional resources while maintaining the performance requirements of a high-capacity digital facility.
When complete, the campus is expected to provide a scalable and resilient platform for advanced computing, AI, cloud services, research, and emerging technology industries.
