Figtree Hill Estate
Lendlease Communities set out to create a new 1,700-lot residential development southwest of Sydney to manage growth balanced with economic, social, and environmental requirements. They reached out to us to serve as the principal consultant for Stage 1.
After completing due diligence works and conducting feasibility assessments, we oversaw the design brief and precinct planning. We carried out subdivision works, provided detailed road design and lot drainage, coordinated the lead-in infrastructure, and prepared consent and land use documentation. Additionally, we served as lead engineer and provided civil engineering and stormwater and utility design.
Due to approval delays, we assessed alternative arrangements and alignments for lead-in services to the subdivision. When market forces drove up costs of materials, we revised our stormwater design and balanced the availability of pipe against cost and efficient drainage.
Figtree Hill Estate not only creates a new community, but it also provides improved infrastructure as well as new schools and facilities for existing neighbourhoods.
