Pinecrest Masterplanned Community Multidisciplinary Services

Located in Mount Peter, just south of the Cairns’ CBD of Edmonton, Queensland, the Pinecrest masterplanned community is surrounded by tropical vegetation and mountain views. Pinecrest will take cues from the bounty of nature that the Cairns region offers and promote a sustainable lifestyle for residents. Our client engaged us to provide multidisciplinary services to bring this development to life.

We designed all aspects of the project from conceptual urban planning design to detailed water and sewer as well as all trunk infrastructure to service the estate. Additionally, we delivered survey services and registration of titles for residents. One of the key challenges we faced included navigating a complex approvals process with multiple referral agencies and stakeholders.

The urban development has 1,500 allotments including commercial spaces plus a retirement village. Future residents will enjoy affordable housing amidst a housing crisis as well as upgraded roads and infrastructure.
