Creating a community in the Shoalhaven area
Tangala Estate is a prestigious 50-lot rural residential development on the northern fringe of Nowra, on the South Coast of New South Wales. The development offers serviced, one-acre lifestyle blocks, backing onto the Tapitallee Nature Reserve with access to bushwalking, cycling, and camping in the area and nearby Bugong National Park. The estate is 20 minutes’ drive to Shoalhaven Beach and has views to the Cambewarra Escarpment and connectivity with the nearby pretty town of Berry.
Beginning in 2016, we worked with the developer through the development approval phase to integrate a rural-style development within existing infrastructure and environmental constraints. We then undertook the detailed design of the development including a range of civil engineering services including bulk earthworks, roads, traffic engineering, stormwater design, and potable water design.
In the final phase, our work supported the delivery of the development through survey plan preparation, draft deposited plans, sales plans, landscape design, and registration of the land.
