Helping small communities secure federal funding support

Colorado Governor's Office of Recovery Grant Writing Support

To help more Colorado communities access federal funding, the Governor’s Office of Recovery has partnered with our North America Funding Program team. The goal is to bring more federal dollars back to the state and support local projects.

We work with the State of Colorado to offer funding advice, assist with applications, and write grant proposals for public organizations. This support is especially helpful for small and rural communities that may not have the personnel or resources to apply for funding on their own. These funds can support things like land and building development, internet access, job training, and transportation upgrades.

We have also helped State agencies win nearly $40 million in grants from the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for energy efficiency and electrification projects.

This grant writing support effort strengthens the State’s ability to apply for and manage federal funds, helping underserved communities grow in a sustainable way and improve quality of life.
