VIC Quarter Apartments
Located in the heart of the vibrant Victoria Park commercial strip, this multi-storey development aimed to bring much needed high-end apartment accommodation to a fast growing community.
Our job? Acoustics, civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural design. The façade design controls noise intrusion from the busy Albany Highway and commercial activities, and special considerations—such as a smart kitchen exhaust design and acoustic treatment for large AC equipment—were also made to reduce adverse impacts to the apartments from the commercial food and beverage tenants.
With the use of solar panels and other energy-saving initiatives, including the use of prefabricated basement retaining wall formwork, 650 Albany Highway achieved a four-star Green Star rating. The development includes over 100 residential apartments, underground parking, a showcase barbecue balcony, and luxurious common areas.
