Growing up, David loved exploring the woods in search of wildlife and plants—a passion that led him to his career. Today, he is an associate senior environmental scientist who specializes in wildlife crossings, wetland and habitat restoration, and protected species assessments. He helps clients reduce impacts while improving environmental outcomes through planning, design, and permitting.

David emphasizes clear communication and collaboration, providing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) guidance to help projects meet and exceed regulatory requirements. He has worked with transportation agencies in Florida and Indiana to develop geospatial tools and models to identify, prioritize, and track wildlife crossings and support grant applications. He has also developed guidance documents, biological assessments, and programmatic approaches to streamline permitting while protecting sensitive species.

Away from work, you’ll still find David around nature, traveling, camping, and gardening with his family.
