Delft, Netherlands
Affectionately referred to as “Little Amsterdam”, Delft has the same charming canals and colorful history as that of our capital city. But Delft has an identity of its own too.
This city, known for its blue-and-white Delftware, was the birthplace of De Straat, an environmental firm founded in 1983 and later acquired by our organization. Though the name’s changed a few times, we’ve always maintained focus, continuing to offer environmental, safety, asset management, and infrastructure services to clients throughout the Netherlands. Our specialty is soil and compliance, becoming renowned for our innovative 5D visualizations of soil contaminations and the innovative Soil Risk Map.
We love what we do, and we love where we do it. In our office, nearly every desk is next to a window, bringing the outdoors in and bathing our workspaces in natural light. And, our office is adjacent to a large park where we can have lunchtime strolls, yet still within walking distance of downtown Delft.
