Matt is passionate about effectively managing capital improvement projects—especially during construction. From working in the field of transportation for public agencies and private firms, Matt can balance the needs and priorities of both parties to move projects forward successfully.
Matt’s collaborative efforts are front and center on the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Project Management Oversight contract. Acting on behalf of the FTA, Matt and his team contribute project management oversight for seven federally-funded transit projects in Texas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Matt and his team make sure the projects are adequately staffed, managed, and executed during project design, construction, and contract close out. The projects—ranging from bus rapid transit to ferry terminal—will improve transit for their local communities and give visitors and residents better travel options.
When not at work, Matt keeps active enjoying waterskiing, softball, volleyball, and golf.
