Working with our team in Lombard, Illinois, David is an experienced restoration ecologist. He offers a range of services including ecosystem restoration planning, native vegetation installation and maintenance, invasive species control, prescribed fire management, and erosion control monitoring.
David applies his knowledge of native plant communities to restore ecosystems of the upper Midwest and assist clients with meeting land management objectives for conservation of imperiled habitats and species, such as pollinators, and to help clients meet regulatory requirements on large wetland mitigation projects. David’s botanical knowledge combined with his many years of implementation experience allows him to apply a holistic view of the ecosystem restoration process and provide clients proactive and innovative solutions.
Since joining Stantec in 2010, David has been the site manager for the wetland restoration project at Deer Grove East where he’s used his skills and experience to restore ecosystems at the site through design, implementation, stewardship, and significant volunteer coordination.
