Barb Berastegui

Barb brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as project designer and architect. She applies her expertise to the design and coordination of diverse transit and civic projects, translating client goals into memorable environments.

Often travelling for work, Barb feels the best way to get to know a city is on her feet—she loves to run. Having worked across various geographies, Barb loves to explore the areas she works in. She finds it enriches her design sense and helps her identify the unique characteristics that contribute to a strong sense of place on each project. Ultimately, her goal on each project is to create spaces that promote healthy, creative work environments that are inspired by local architecture.

In her spare time, Barb loves getting outside with her family. When she’s not trail running in the Phoenix Valley, she enjoys water sports at the local lake or head to the Arizona high country to enjoy the quiet, cool pine forests.
