A passion for learning and desire to help others succeed have been driving motivations behind Gerda’s mentoring and developing engineers at Stantec. Her vast experience in managing project schedules and diverse range of complex projects have continued to expand her integration of sustainability principles into projects. Her work on the Kelowna General Hospital Addition and the Vernon Jubillee Hospital Addition are examples where Gerda contributed to the LEED® Gold Certification of a building.
Hailing from Colorado, Gerda is enjoying the Okanagan. She enjoys the great outdoors cross-country skiing and finding off the beaten hiking paths with her dog.
