Protecting our communities is all in a day’s work for Jeff. As a specialist in geotechnical and seismic engineering, he has worked on a lot of high-impact projects for the water and power industries. Whether it’s keeping our water supplies flowing, providing flood control, or testing and stabilizing dams, he’s had a hand in it. Jeff’s expertise spans across the U.S. from designing large anchors for stabilization at Bluestone Dam in West Virginia to performing seismic analysis at Canton Dam in Oklahoma. One of his most rewarding projects included assessing the condition of 14 locks and dams along the Kentucky River. The project allowed the client to prioritize repairs to the aged structures ensuring protection of the water supply for numerous communities throughout Kentucky for generations to come.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, running, and playing the euphonium in a community band.
