As a resident of Lethbridge, Jeff is in the heart of Alberta’ renewable energy market. If he’s not managing the latest wind or solar project, you will catch him fishing on Kootenay Lake looking for his next 10-pound Gerard Rainbow fish.
Jeff is western Canada’s renewable lead and brings over 28 years of engineering and construction management experience. Having delivered some of Alberta’s first small hydro run-of-river projects, he’s recently developed a specialty for wind projects and sustainable solar developments. Castle Rock Ridge Wind Farm is Jeff’s favorite project because the scope of work included complete civil and electrical design along with the construction management.
Jeff has managed more than 2,300 megawatts of wind power and solar power projects. He posits that the traditional role of centralized generation is changing, “renewable energy is not only bringing clean power and reducing GHG to our environment, but it is bringing diversity and stability to the grid and how we think about it.”
When he’s not working or spending time with family, he always enjoys fishing, targeting, playing sports, and watching Game of Thrones!
