Dwayne has 23 years of diverse professional experience, primarily focused in geotechnical engineering and construction QA/QC monitoring & testing, with proficiency in environmental sciences as well. Dwayne spent the initial part of his professional career Fort McMurray, AB, supporting several major Alberta oil sands projects, as well as extensive commercial, residential, light industrial and municipal projects related to the rapidly developing Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Dwayne is currently based in Sydney, NS providing services locally and throughout the Atlantic Region. During the past 10 years, he has been extensively involved in site closure of former coal mine sites in the Sydney area.
Outside his professional life, Dwayne is active in many community organizations and enjoys Tae-Kwon-Do, golf, squash, weekend warrior home renovations, and most of all spending time with his two young boys.
