With over 30 years of experience in materials management and procurement for mining and heavy industrial projects, Randy has focused his career on delivering superior service to clients. He leads our global mining business line’s Procurement and Integrated Engineering Services (IES) teams, and his job includes business development for procurement and IES services, coaching and mentoring staff, and supporting project teams for high-quality project delivery.
Randy and his team are responsible for procuring materials from around the globe—everything from hoisting plants, conveyances, shaft steel, and E-Houses to bolts and light bulbs. They also assist in the logistics of delivering those materials to final jobsite destinations, while ensuring packaging and labeling adhere to industry standards, exceed customer expectations, and can withstand the rigors of transportation through rough terrain in remote areas of the world.
In this line of work, Randy has two guiding principles: understand what you’re buying and be a problem solver. “It’s our job to make our client’s job as easy as possible.”
When he’s not working, Randy hunts, hikes, bikes, and enjoys pushing his Jeep to its limits.
