Ralph pursues the strategic, financial, and business development goals of our teams across Australia and New Zealand. As the regional leader, he supports Stantec’s executive leadership connections in the market including local, international, and political. His goals? To make sure our business is well represented with clients, government agencies, and professional associations as well as to lead an inclusive and culturally diverse team.
Supported by the region’s senior leadership team, Ralph ensures the business remains clued in to local and national trends. With his background in business development and winning new work, Ralph maintains relationships with clients, leads account management, and conducts campaign planning. After more than 20 years with Stantec, he’s got a keen intuition for where the industry is going.
To promote inclusion in our team and industry, Ralph is a member of our Inclusion and Diversity Council and a signatory of the Diversity Agenda Accord, which was created to foster inclusion in engineering companies across New Zealand.
Ralph believes that great consulting businesses need two main ingredients: talented people and happy clients. When he isn’t leading the former or supporting the latter, you might find Ralph cycling or enjoying a game of rugby or cricket. Also, now that his children have left home, he’s got a lot more time to travel.
