Jacob is a business manager and chartered engineer who wins work and delivers it. For the past decade, he has led from the front and built a track record of operational efficiency and reliability for our business in the Middle East. He relocated to Canada in 2021 and now leads the Community Development group for Ontario Southwest.
In his previous role, Jacob was instrumental in overseeing business in Qatar where he grew the operation into a sustainable USD $15 million operation in 2020 prior to his departure to Canada. Since 2011, Jacob has overseen P&L for Stantec’s continuously growing work in the Middle East—worth approximately $30-35 million. He is a certified project management professional (PMP) and holds a PhD in project portfolio management. Jacob has published his work on strategic directions and implementation in project-based organizations in top tier publications. His focus has always been leveraging and achieving efficiency in projects, programs, and project portfolios.
Outside of work, Jacob is an art enthusiast, enjoys painting, and plays classical piano.
