As transit leader, James has extensive global experience in transit and transportation systems. For over 30 years, he’s developed and delivered transit, passenger rail, and freight rail infrastructure and systems in urban, suburban, and cross-country environments.
James has worked in transportation in fifteen countries around the world, including in Europe, Asia, and North America. For three decades, he ran major programs and evolved his focus from engineering design to developing, growing, and operating businesses. James’ time spent in Singapore was especially meaningful—both personally and professionally. There, he led a local team of 1,000 people and directed manufacturing and design in five other countries to construct one of the world’s longest driverless rapid transit lines. James developed a strong collaborative effort between the client, James and his project team, which led to a successful design and construction process.
If he isn’t at work, you will find James enjoying a seasonal outdoor activity, like cycling or skiing, or in the local pub cheering on the UK EPL soccer team.
