Michelle specializes in overhead distribution line design engineering and analysis. She’s managed and designed several types of distribution projects including hardening, system expansion, automatic feeder switch (AFS) installations, and overhead to underground conversions. Additionally, Michelle develops conceptual design documents for utilities that lack the time and resources to create robust project scopes.
Having led multiple teams of engineers to standardize department processes across several regional offices, Michelle has worked on the standardization of the plan and profile (P&P) drawings and the implementation of light detection and ranging (LiDAR) guidelines to meet North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) requirements.
When she isn’t designing distribution projects, you might find Michelle at home having a dance party with her two young daughters. Being a role model to her daughters, particularly as a female in a STEM career, is important to Michelle, and she will encourage them to pursue their passions as they grow older.
